Wessex encourages trainees to go to Great Ormond Street Hospital, London for further experience of paediatric EMGs.
We are also supportive of those wishing to gain other relevant experience, such as undertaking a period of research or specialist clinical experience, whether it be with Wessex or elsewhere.
Trainees are supernumerary, so time is always found for such activities, within the boundaries of what is allowed during the specialty training programme.
