All trainees are based at the Princess Anne Hospital on the University Hospital Southampton site, but with attachments to hospitals across the region, spending six-month blocks of time gaining appropriate experience.
When attached to regional hospitals, trainees will have weekly or monthly clinics in that hospital and may be asked to see inpatients during their visit.
Activities include:
- Clinics (some around region) including Adult, Cancer, Carrier and Neurogenetics
- Journal Club
- Lab Work
- Meetings including Cancer and Clinical
- Photo Reviews
- Seminars
- Ward rounds
