GMC site approval should be applied for if a training location is used for more than two sessions, or one day a week.
If a location is not approved, the achievement of curricula outcomes may not count towards the award of a certificate of completion of training (CCT). This may result in a doctor’s completion of training date being delayed.
A list of approved programmes or training sites, is regularly updated by the GMC.
To request new site approval, please complete the Training Location Approval Request form and send it to england.quality.wx@nhs.net who will obtain appropriate approval.
