Acute Care Common Stem Training Days

Regional training days for Acute Care Common Stem (ACCS) trainees are held 10 times a year of which two days will be held at the HEE Wessex office in Otterbourne, with the remaining eight rotating between the training sites.

These days provide trainees with an opportunity to cover multiple curriculum items, gain teaching assessments presenting cases at a regional level, to receive Consultant teaching and give feedback on the Wessex training scheme.

Trainees are required to attend 70% of available training sessions. In order to keep a register of attendees, trainees should notify the organiser of any apologies and keep a record for themselves to be confirmed with your Educational Supervisor when completing your Structured Training Reports (STR’s). This will be checked at your Annual Review of Competence Progression (ARCP)..
