> Exam Fees: We are aware of the recently accepted national agreement regarding reimbursement of the first two attempts of mandatory Royal College examinations from 1 April 2026 by NHS Employers. However, the Department of Health has not yet issued formal guidance on the reimbursement process. Please retain your receipt and await further guidance.

- If, after reading the guidance information for Southampton, New Forest and Jersey GP Resident Doctors, you believe that you are, or maybe, entitled to study leave funding for your chosen course/activity, please submit a completed ‘Permission Request Form’ (to england.sotongpeuteam.se@nhs.net) in advance of booking to check that reimbursement is approved in order to avoid disappointment. It may speed up the process if you include a web link to the course for which you’re applying. Note that we are unable to respond to email enquiries about study leave for courses unless they include a completed ‘Permission Request Form’.
