Families and Babies (FAB)
Families and Babies hosted the Dorset Fellows group during the 24/25 Fellowship year.
“It was really great to have some “outside eyes” on what we do here at FAB. We are so very often caught up in our own “breastfeeding bubble” here with supporting families that we often don’t get to see or hear different perspectives on the work we do.
Working with the Community Fellowship allowed us to think about how the service works and whether what we are doing is the best fit for everyone we are trying to support. The report that was created was really beneficial and insightful and allowed us to consider some changes we may not have thought about had it been ourselves reviewing the service. Fresh eyes gave us the change in perspective needed to adapt and make some changes and consider the families we are supporting and their needs alongside the needs of our own volunteers.”
