GP Trainer Payments
Please note that from 2024, GP Trainer Grant payments have been made monthly to practices. Since October 2024, Educational Supervisor (ES payments) and/or Continuing Professional Development (CPD payments) are made directly rather than having to invoice the patch office as in previous years. The patch office will confirm the amounts due to each practice to the Wessex business support team who will make the payments directly to the practice. This is the same method that practices use to receive trainer grant payments.
Educational Supervisor payments for the posts August 2025 – February 2026 – payments to practices in October 2025.
CPD payments for GP Trainers eligible to receive funding – payments to practices in November 2025.
Educational Supervisor payments for the posts February 2026 – August 2026 – payments to practices in March 2026.
Practices eligible for Trainer Group Convenor Payments will be contacted by the Patch office annually for payments to be made by invoice.
