We are sorry but we are currently unable to release dates for activities beyond 1 Aug 2025. NHS England is required to make significant savings this financial year and as a result the delivery of all PDU-coordinated and PDU-funded activity from 1 Aug 2025 onwards is under review.

NHSE Wessex has developed its own in-house ‘Teach the Teacher’ courses, which are offered to doctors in postgraduate training, staff grade and trust grade doctors.
The highly-successful Tomorrow’s Teachers course was founded by Wessex Medical Education Fellows (MEFs) in 2001, to overcome educational challenges posed by modern medical training.
Furthermore, the NHSE Wessex offer has evolved with the development of the Tomorrow’s Teachers II: The Art of Facilitation course, which helps participants explore the key principles of facilitation with respect to teaching in the workplace.

In 2022, NHSE Wessex expanded its teaching provision further, by introducing the Educator Development – Tomorrow’s Teachers III: Facilitation Skills for established Educators course for Wessex educators.
