Due to NHS England restructuring, the PDU is no longer involved in the coordination of Medical Specialty and Revision courses, although a number of local courses are still delivered by course leads for Schools and Specialties. Resident doctors should liaise with their educational supervisors, TPDs or college tutors if they wish to explore what options might be available and relevant to them.
Examples of courses run in the past are:
- FRCA Final – Intensive Revision Course
- FRCA Final – Intensive Revision Course (VIVA Day)
- FRCA – Introduction to Obstetric Anaesthesia Management
- FRCA Primary – Scientific Principles of Clinical Anaesthesia
- MRCP – Part 2 (Written)
- Wessex MRCS Part A+B Preparation Course
- Wessex and Gloucestershire Gastrointestinal Pathology Course (WGGIPC)
