Reviews and appeals against Annual Review of Competence Progression (ARCP) outcomes will be conducted in accordance with the processes outlined in the Gold Guide.
If a trainee would like to request a review (outcomes 2 and 7.2) or appeal (outcomes 3 and 4) of their ARCP outcome, they should submit their request within 10 working days of being notified of the outcome.
Requests should be made in writing by email to the Postgraduate Dean – Dr Paul Sadler.
Please email paul.sadler6@nhs.net and attach a completed “Doctor in training’s grounds for appeal review or appeal”(Word Doc) form.
COVID-19
Reviews and appeals will normally still take place during the COVID-19 Pandemic however they will take place with a virtual panel.
The new COVID-19 outcomes will also be subject to the review process (outcome 10.1) or the appeal process (outcome 10.2).
