Towards the end of F1, foundation doctors are required to apply for full registration with the GMC. You must not start an F2 post or undertake any clinical duties that require full registration until full registration has been granted. You should allow plenty of time for the registration process to be completed to ensure that you are fully registered with the GMC before you start F2.
Wessex Foundation School will update your GMC records once you have achieved an outcome 1 at your end of F1 ARCP and you have signed your outcome form on Horus.
All applications for full registration are made using your GMC Online account. You should read the GMC guidance on full registration before you apply. You will need to complete a declaration of fitness to practice as part of the application.
