ARCP information for Panels

The Annual Review of Competence Progression (ARCP) is a formally defined process within the curriculum in which a resident doctor’s progress in the training programme is assessed and measured using a range of defined and validated assessment tools, along with professional and triangulated judgements about their rate of progression.

The role of a ARCP Panel Member is to review evidence provided by the resident doctor and their Supervisors to arrive at a judgement. It is important that prior to the ARCP that Panel Members review the information in the below links and attachments to prepare for their role.
