Anyone acting as an ARCP panel member is required to have attended relevant training. We have set up ARCP training days that people can book themselves onto, or online training is available. In addition to ARCP training, all panel members are required to be up to date with Equality and Diversity (E&D) training – i.e. completed in the last 3 years. You will be asked by the panel Chair to confirm that you have completed the above at the start of the panel.
ARCP training sessions for Programme Teams, ARCP Panel Members and ARCP Panel Chairs To attend a training session, book via Accent. Select Wessex from the list of regions and then under Courses search ARCP and the following course will appear: ARCP Panel – Programme Teams, Member and Chair Training. Select the date you would like to attend and state why you are attending to help the facilitators prepare the training.
ARCP/E&D e-Learning modules
Alternatively, you may complete ARCP Panel Member and E&D training online. Visit the e-Learning for Healthcare (ELFH) Website. Both ARCP training and E&D training should take no longer than 20 minutes each.
If you have not used the ELFH website before, you may need to register.
Once registered, please search in the box at the top ARCP or Equality and Diversity. It will produce results at the bottom of the page.
The modules that need to be completed for ARCP are: Video: ARCP – Introduction, Video: ARCP – Specialty & GP and for E&D – Equality and Diversity and Human Rights – Level 1. Click play next to the module.
