Recent Projects:

AHPs in Mental Health & Learning Disability – Toni King (August 2021)

This report summarises a project coordinated via the Allied Health Professions (AHP) Faculty for
Hampshire Isle of Wight (HIOW) focused on the AHP workforce in Mental Health & Learning
Disability. The project took place between March 2020 and July 2021 using multiple approaches over
an extended time period due to the advent of Covid-19. Thirteen findings are presented from this
robust engagement exercise.

Hi my name is Katrina Mitchell and I’m the AHP faculty program lead for Hampshire Isle of Wight region. My background is a physiotherapist and I have been practising in the NHS for nearly 20 years. As the faculty lead, my role is to help support the development of the workforce projects within the Hampshire and Isle of White region. I’m accountable to the Allied Health Professional Council where the strategy is developed.
