HEE Wessex aims to:
- Provide informed, expert advice and strategic direction to support the development of the GPN workforce.
- Provide a clear career pathway for General Practice Nursing in Wessex
And will do this by:
- Shaping the strategic direction for the General Practice Nursing across Wessex, whilst engaging with the national agenda.
- Working with our partners to provide and support relevant training for those new to General Practice Nursing and the existing work force
- Providing funding for the development of newly qualified nurses through a General Practice Nurse Fellowship over two years.
- Establishing an appropriate educational framework for the GPN workforce in Wessex.
- Facilitating the development of networks with GPN and our stakeholders.
