Description of town/location | Bournemouth is a great city – we have one of the best beaches on the South coast and is used throughout the year, but come Summer time most of the social events are beach orientated! Also a great place to live with smaller towns/areas like Westbourne, Southbourne, Ashley Cross within the city being very popular places for all the F1/F2s to live and easily commutable to the hospital by bike/car. City centre has lots going on and plenty of nightlife/restaurants to keep you entertained. Also, really near to the New Forrest, ideal for walking/cycling and country pub trips. |
Top 3 things about working here | 1. Very friendly and active doctors mess with lots of socials 2. Very supportive seniors and postgraduate team 3. Wide range of specialties in a big DGH, with good clinical exposure |
